Dwight served in the United States Air Force from 1990 to 1995. He attended the University of South Florida where he earned a degree in Finance, which led him to the financial services industry. His first job out of college was as an Advisor at Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley, where he began working with qualified plans, such as 401(k)s. The experience and enjoyment of providing solutions with corporate benefits led him to taking a position at Raymond James & Associates in 1999. He went on to become the Director of Retirement Plan Consulting in 2003.
In 2006, he became the Director of Business Development at Principal Financial Group, specializing in Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, ESOP, and Nonqualified plans. Given his background and experience in both qualified and Nonqualified plans, he was promoted to the South East Regional Vice President, specializing in Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plans. With the knowledge he had gained with Nonqualified plans, Dwight returned to Raymond James in 2016 to grow the Nonqualified business at Raymond James Financial, Inc.
Dwight’s role today is to help Raymond James advisors work with their business clients to find executive funding solutions to help recruit, reward, and retain key employees. With 22 years of experience with both qualified and Nonqualified plans, Dwight specializes in finding solutions to meet the needs of the business owners and their executives. Dwight actively helps with the design, implementation and informal financing of Nonqualified deferred compensation plans. He works with a wide range of leading advisors and their business clients to help them reward their key people and plan for retirement on a tax-advantaged basis.
Dwight lives in Wesley Chapel Florida, a suburb of the Tampa Bay area, with his wife and daughters. His hobbies include hiking, fishing, rafting, and camping. His family enjoys rock and fossil hunting and have found some large and unique specimens across the U.S. While traveling on vacation they will often dedicate one day to go find something in the local area that might be of interest.

Jason graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor degree in Business, and earned his Master’s in Finance from the University of Tampa. Mike came to Raymond James in 2018 after 27 years of Trust banking and wealth management experience, most recently at Wells Fargo The Private Bank as a Senior Regional Fiduciary Manager of the Gold Coast Region. He also served as the a Senior Regional Trust Manager at SunTrust Bank.
